- Em PortuguêsA Beta Technologies é uma empresa especializada na criação de conteúdos tridimensionais para a plataforma de mundos virtuais Second Life® (e a sua variante open-source OpenSimulator). Somos uma equipa pluridisciplinar e internacional, com equipas de especialistas em arquitectura, modelação 3D, programação, engª de software e de sistemas, animação por computador, e produção multimédia e audiovisual, nomeadamente edição e pós-produção de vídeo e áudio. Mantemos escritórios em Lisboa (ver página de contactos), assim como parcerias estabelecidas com uma instituição de ensino superior portuguesa (UTAD) e várias parcerias informais com muitas outras (U. Aveiro, U. Minho, U. Porto, ESEC/Santarém, entre outras) e habitualmente os seus oradores deslocam-se para apresentações, conferências, seminários eworkshops um pouco por todo o país. Os cerca de 70 projectos completados para mais de uma dúzia de clientes têm um foco especial na formação/educação à distância, nas simulações, e na arqueologia virtual, mas realizamos igualmente presenças virtuais e eventos promocionais de marcas, produtos e empresas no ambiente do Second Life.
